Detailed Description

Secrepat Forte is a 4-component antacid medication that neutralizes excess acid and relieves symptoms of heartburn and stomach pain within just a few minutes after dissolving the tablet. The action of Secrepat Forte is due to the activity of its components.

Secrepat Forte contains 4 COMPONENTS¹:

• Calcium carbonate – 150 mg (neutralizes acid within a few minutes)
• Hydrated magnesium trisilicate – 50 mg (helps form an antacid film on the surface of the stomach contents)
• Dihydroxyaluminum aminoacetate – 400 mg (neutralizes only excess hydrochloric acid, maintaining the pH around 4 and preventing hypersecretion of gastric juice – the “rebound syndrome”)
• Aluminum hydroxide, dry gel – 100 mg (promotes ulcer healing, neutralizes acid without forming carbon dioxide – no bloating or secondary hypersecretion – “rebound syndrome”)

When is SECREPAT FORTE¹ needed?

• For heartburn and stomach pain!
• For stomach irritation due to coffee, alcohol, or smoking!
• When taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or glucocorticoids⁷!
• For gastrointestinal diseases: peptic ulcers, acute or chronic gastritis!
